Well done on writing such an engaging, inventive and fun novel. The Shadow of the Albatross has a unique premise that has allowed you to explore the complexities of grief, finding purpose, and revenge, all with a good few murders sprinkled throughout.
There are some great set pieces and exciting moments. You have also created a sinister, unique villain. I hope that you will be bringing back a lot of these characters in a second series novel; you’ve left it set up brilliantly to do so.

It is accurate and well-researched, as well as consistent throughout.
I like the title of the book, and it is a fascinating and enthralling action/thriller that is tense and gripping throughout as we follow Travers on his journey to capturing the criminals and
ensuring they get their just desserts.
I feel it will appeal to anyone of any age who enjoys a good crime thriller, and also action
series.

I couldn’t put it down. The Shadow Of The Albatross is dark, thought-provoking, and painfully real. Martin Fraser has a way of writing that leaves echoes in your mind long after you’ve turned the last page.

The Shadow Of The Albatross gripped me from the first page and didn’t let go. Martin Fraser dives deep into the human psyche, exposing choices we all pretend we’d never make. Raw, unsettling, and beautifully written.

Reading The Shadow Of The Albatross felt like walking a tightrope between truth and delusion. Martin Fraser has crafted a psychological thriller that doesn’t just tell a story — it makes you question your own. Brilliantly layered and unforgettable.
